SELECT is a pre-employment screening tool for hourly positions that identifies work-related behaviors such as Positive Service Attitude, Accountability, Frustration Tolerance, Acceptance of Diversity, Multi-tasking and more, plus a Validity Check and Integrity Index. SELECT math and reading tests can be added to any of the SELECT reports.


Each customized report includes a step by step interview guide with recommended interview questions based on the candidate's responses.


SELECT allows employers to quickly and easily screen for characteristics associated with productivity, cooperative work behaviors, integrity and service to others. SELECT includes a number of different job suites for 50 position types.


SELECT measures:

  • Positive Attitude - Shows faith in self and positive outlook on self, others, and the company
  • Energy - Prefers a high activity level; action oriented
  • Frustration and Criticism Tolerance - Is resilient in the face of frustration and criticism
  • Acceptance of Diversity - Tolerates others different from self
  • Self Control - Refrains from impulsive behavior
  • Acceptance of Structure - Accepts rules and follows direction
  • Empathy, Interpersonal Insight - Shows an understanding for the feelings and needs of others
  • Multi-Tasking - Enjoys handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Integrity - Possesses a strong work ethic
  • Influence - Enjoys influencing the actions of others
  • Sociability - Displays an ease in social situations and enjoys interacting with others
  • Good Judgment - Shows a tendency towards objective thinking based on fact
